Ask any business leader what their top challenge is today and – more than likely – the answer will be cutting costs.  Indeed, KPMG’s 2012 Business Leaders Survey demonstrated that changing business operations to realise cost efficiencies was the top concern nagging at the minds of CEOs.  Given the history of the past three years this shouldn’t be a surprise especially as business leaders could, by now, be expected to have completed many of those tough decisions regarding their cost base.
